Terms of Service

Effective date: June 1, 2026 · Last updated: June 1, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the PO Pilot product at popilot.app. The AVSaaS company-wide Terms of Service also apply and govern any areas not specifically addressed here. By creating a PO Pilot account or connecting a Shopify store, you agree to both documents.

1. The Service

PO Pilot connects to your Shopify store via OAuth, reads inventory levels and sales velocity, evaluates per-SKU reorder status, and creates draft purchase orders for your review and explicit approval. PO Pilot does not automatically send purchase orders to suppliers. A PO only advances from draft to sent via an explicit authenticated action by you.

2. Shopify Connection and Authorization

You authorize PO Pilot to connect to your Shopify store via Shopify OAuth with read-only scopes. You represent that you have admin access to the Shopify store you connect and the authority to grant this access. You may revoke PO Pilot's access at any time through your Shopify admin's connected apps settings or through your PO Pilot dashboard.

3. Purchase Order Accuracy and Liability

PO Pilot's reorder recommendations are based on your current inventory levels and historical sales velocity from Shopify. Recommendations may be inaccurate due to: seasonal demand shifts, manual inventory adjustments in Shopify, product discontinuations, supplier lead time changes, or any other factor not captured in your Shopify data. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all purchase orders before sending them to suppliers. AVSaaS is not liable for: over-ordering or under-ordering resulting from inaccurate velocity models, rejected POs from suppliers, inventory discrepancies between PO Pilot and Shopify, or financial losses from supplier transactions.

4. No Auto-Send Guarantee

PO Pilot guarantees that no purchase order will be sent to a supplier without an explicit authenticated action from you (POST /send). This guarantee is a core product invariant. If you believe a PO was sent without your authorization, contact us immediately at [email protected].

5. Supplier Records

Once a supplier has dependent purchase orders or product associations, the supplier's internal identifier is immutable. You may update supplier contact details and portal access, but the identifier linking the supplier to your PO history stays stable. This protects PO history integrity.

6. Subscription and Cancellation

The Pro plan is billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Upon cancellation, inventory evaluation and PO drafting stop at the end of the billing period. All account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

7. Limitation of Liability

AVSaaS is not liable for financial losses resulting from inaccurate reorder recommendations, incorrect PO quantities, supplier rejections, Shopify API changes, or any procurement decisions made based on PO Pilot's outputs. Our total liability for any PO Pilot-related claim is limited to the fees you paid for PO Pilot in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify, deprecate, or discontinue any feature of PO Pilot. For changes that materially reduce functionality, we will provide 60 days' notice. For discontinuation of the entire service, we will provide 90 days' notice and ensure you can export all your PO history before shutdown.
